Professional Headlight Restoration in Metairie & New Orleans, LA Are your vehicle's headlights looking yellow, cloudy, foggy, or oxidized? At CL Detailz Mobile Detailing & Pressure Washing, we provide professional headlight restoration services in Metairie, New Orleans, Kenner, and surrounding areas. Our multi-step restoration process removes years of oxidation, discoloration, and surface damage to help restore your headlights' clarity, appearance, and nighttime visibility. Our Headlight Restoration Process We begin by inspecting the condition of your headlights to determine the level of restoration needed. Depending on the severity of oxidation and damage, we use a progressive wet-sanding process that may start with 600-grit sandpaper, followed by finer sanding stages up to 3,000 grit. We then machine-polish the lenses to restore clarity and remove sanding marks before applying a protective UV-resistant coating to help slow future yellowing and oxidation. Benefits of Professional Headlight Restoration Over time, exposure to sunlight, weather, road debris, and environmental contaminants can cause plastic headlight lenses to become cloudy and discolored. This buildup can reduce the amount of light passing through the lenses, potentially making nighttime driving more difficult. Our headlight restoration service offers several benefits: -Improved nighttime visibility Clearer lenses can allow more light to pass through, helping improve road illumination. - Enhanced vehicle appearance: Remove unsightly yellowing and cloudiness for a cleaner, newer-looking finish. - Cost-effective alternative: Restore existing headlights without the expense of replacing the entire headlight assembly. - UV protection: A protective coating helps reduce future oxidation and discoloration. - Improved vehicle presentation: Clear headlights can make your vehicle look better maintained, especially when preparing it for resale. Affordable Headlight Restoration Near You Our professional headlight restoration service averages $80 per vehicle, with final pricing depending on headlight size, condition, and severity of damage. Most standard restorations take approximately 30–45 minutes, making this an affordable and convenient way to improve your vehicle's appearance and potentially enhance nighttime driving visibility.
